OK everybody with less than a week to go before we leave here is a map of our journey.
I had to split the map into two as if it was on one page it would have been too small.
I now hope that two maps will be the answer.
TOP HALF:

BOTTOM HALF:

Right, let us see if it is readable.

DAY 1 - 16 APRIL 2015 - PRETORIA - CLARENS. Part 1/2
We decided to take the roundabout route to Frankfort and go via Heidelberg and Oranjeville instead of taking the N3 to Villiers.
The Vaal Dam wall.

Some swirly clouds contrasting with the straight lines of the land.
Some shots of the bridge across the Wilge River at Oranjeville.
From the Western side. Why, when in the middle of nowhere a local inhabitant gets if the photo. Happened to me plenty of times while photting trains.

From the Eastern side. Wondered if this truck would make it.

Just love our windmills. This one near Reitz.

Part 2 to follow.

DAY 1 - 16 APRIL 2015 - PRETORIA - CLARENS. Part 2/2
On the R26 outside Clarens.

The view from our cottage door.

Some poplars in lovely sunlight.

Main Street Clarens looking down from the village square.

Good friends.

Sunset on day 1 from our lounge window.

Stay safe until tomorrow.
