Clarens must be one of the most beautiful towns in South Africa. We wish we had booked to stay another day.

DAY 2 - 17 APRIL 2015 - ROUND ABOUT CLARENS AND GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL PARK. Part 1/5

Today was quite a day and with all the scenery around we just got carried away with taking photos so please forgive us for posting so many photos.

First thing this morning we heard lovely bird songs and eventually found two male Bokmakirries.

Image

Not a good photo but I did manage to catch the two together.

Then Joan caught me in the garden.

Breakfast at the Artists Café.

Image

They do care for their wildlife.

Image

We then left to go have a look at the Ash River Outflow a short way on the road back to Bethlehem. To follow in Part 2/5.

Got this rather pretty shot as we left.

Part 2/5 to follow.
