Flavour of the Month April 2015: S-21 Nwatimhiri Road

Ja...the river gets bone-dry, and where there may be water, there are no loops there? As said, closing the water points doesn't help much...

But there is another pan very near the Eastern end!


















The theory is, the more these pans get used, the bigger they get as large herbivores carry the mud away after rolling in it!

The bush can be very dense, and there are long straight stretches away from the river...














However, there is great scenery especially near the western end! There one will find the Siyalo rocks....but I don't have a pic!
Nearer the east a lot of thorn scrub.....it is actually called the "Nwatimhiri Bush"!
