And off we went! The temperature was climbing dramatically!

So we went on into the heat haze, all the way down the S-131...something I haven't done in ages, and sure we would find action at the few waterholes along the way!



They were all closed!..... (A bit of an emotional roller-coaster this morning was, to put it mildly...




Somewhere along the way, a huge tusker!









For some reason, aat couldn't identify it....

Arrived at Letaba somewhat the worse for wear, and began a long-standing relationship with Precious at reception...a great lady. Little did she know it would be an afternoon of hell for her, and I have the greatest respect!
