Once every 50 Years the Nossob River flows

Seeing the Nossob river full from one side to the other was definitely the highlight of our March / April 2015 trip.
Obviously, the Kgalagadi had already received good rains before we arrive because this it what places looked liked before the night of the heavy rain
which was from the 29 to 30 March (and there was more afterwards as well). Generally, the northern sections of both riversides had more rainfall
than the southern parts but it was pretty wet all over the place and the puddles turned into lakes that would last for days and would be filled up
regularly again.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo again after the rains, but the dry part of the road in this photo was full of water again the other two times we went to up to Grootkolk.

The strom and rains had taken down the wheel of the windmill and according to reports this must have happened about 3 to 4 weeks before we arrived. Needless to say it wasn't fixed while we were in the park. But the solar panel at Kannaguass had come down as well and we actually saw rangers fixing it on the 29/03/2015
