This is one of my favourite areas, and has provided many hours of enjoyment!

I Sat here in the shade for 8 hours on 9 Aug 2010 - 3 leopard sightings.



This one ambled up spent 10 minutes 5metres in front of the car , his mate was shy and stayed on the fringes of the vegetation to the left of the dam wall.

Serval's spot is under a tree on the dam wall....one of the few remaining shady dam lookouts in the Park.

The shade is really good!

Just be careful the road is not in the best condition - our whole window fell out on this road at the end of January and we also (unbeknown to us at the time) damaged the wall of our tyre so badly that we had to buy a new one! I doubt it has been graded since then as that seems the order of the day in KNP at the moment - you simply put up a sign at the entrance to a road about needing rain to grade and one takes ones chances as the grading just never happens!

One of the very few dams in Kruger I have got something to contribute too.
