Long Weekend Break at the Baltic Sea

I thought I'd share some impression with you to broaden your knowledge about beautiful places in the world.

First up the rape fields that are in blossom at the moment.

Traffic was heavy and I actually took this one while sitting in a traffic jam. Not a bad place to be stuck for a while.

Unfortunately we picked a weekend where the Eel Regatta is held (yes, it is called like that

) and we got the ferry wheel overlooking our balcony.

And drinking booths underneath us...

Flensburger is one of the northern German brews and tastes quite alright, but our favourite brand will come up further down.

My dinner:

Young herring with a kind of sour cream sauce that contains apples, gherkins and onions.

And a side salad with homemade dressing and very fresh ingredients.

Our favourite beer brand - also from northern Germany:

The left one is mine, and even if you don't believe it, there's more in the round glass than in the longish one.
