LEOPARD IDENTIFICATION PROGRAMME.

Post by steamtrainfan »

There is a Facebook page " Pilanesberg Leopard Identification" in which the administrator is asking everybody for photos of leopards in order to try and identify and name them.

I have been honoured in being asked to name one which we saw in 2008 as there is no record of it.

It was a female and a fairly large cub that crossed Tshwene Drive just after Potokwane intersection.

I have named her NTLENTLE which in Sotho means pretty.
