Ja, Dewi, but who knows?

What are your sources regarding both Indian and African elephants being used in Europe by colonialists? We have our own similar little problem down here at the moment, politically... O-/

Our Indian "elephants" have fled to the North African sphere, ironically...

But anyway!

A closeup of the upper ear nodes of the Bull in question, seems little fluctuation in protrusion there? -O-

I passed on the info regarding this being a right-handed/tusked ellie, while it is left-handed, as you said, so a further delay! :o0ps:

Thanks for that link to the book, Deli! \O

A far more recent work, which may be applicable in this case, is by the 21st century Congolese explorer Mogoengicus.

20th Century Indian and African Coincidence of Genetically Coincidental Subspecies

ISBN: 33546778999

Quote from Daily Telegraph:

"A gripping and sweeping saga recounting the as yet undiscovered hegemony between Indian (spp. Asiaticus Guptensis ) and African ( spp. Zumsensis Africanus ) over the years. Complete with mating rituals, dung analysis, and new photo footage showing behavior regarding the avoidance of female predators. A must read!"

There's no "n" in gored Mel. ;-) O**

You can look up Trabia. ;-)

What fantasies Lis. :-? -O-

While we were discussing trunks and muscles on your Addo thread Mel, I thought it more apt to post this question here.

Do any of you know which part of the human body is very similar to an elephant's trunk?

You are too quick for me Lis. ^Q^ \O

Both our tongues and elephant's trunks are hydrostats. These are bodyparts are composed mostly of muscle tissue that utilize water pressure to move, giving them acrobatic manouverability. \O
