Tuesday 22 September. Nossob.

The small things were enjoying some rays this morning, I managed to get bushveld elephant shrew and Striped Mouse in beautiful light.

A Sandgrouse at Cubitje Quap.

Further north at Bedinkt, a squadron of Whitebacked Vultures were on alert status.

And got orders to scramble.

On the way back to Nossob, Stargazer's sharp eyes spotted a Brants's Whistling Rat!

On my solo afternoon drive, the Spotted Eagle Owl was still on its nest on Marie se Draai.

In the road, a Puff Adder!

Another Elephant shrew, a striped mouse and a whistling rat. They are so lovely......without the tail

Even the vulture is beautiful when in flight

I also admire the puff adder

I found that wild cat! Actually even two of them together in the location you described. $O\/$ $O\/$ $O\/$
But it was more of a sighting than a photo opportunity

Tried to find food pics from Nossob braai on google..no luck...but quite a few AW pics there!
