The Kruiper family has become a brand and hopefully it will help to sell the indigenous tourism product of the Khomani

What's the progress with the new Kruiper camp?
Was expected to open in July 2019 Did they even start building?
Final BAR is from Nov 2017

As of October 2019 I would say there is nothing happening at the moment... anywhere of those 3 sites.Klipspringer wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2020 1:43 pm What's the progress with the new Kruiper camp?

But, of course, the new camp is supposed to located next to a road that is not open for tourists,
so I can't be sure. But we haven't seen any building trucks whatsoever.

According to this map, the Kruiper is way closer to Twee than anything else.
What you're talking about is that luxury camp site at Craig Lockhardt.
That isn't even mentioned in this report.
And I think there were others too, like around Jan se Draai and somewhere in Gemsbok / Kij Gamies triangle.
All of them in yet another report...
SanParks will definitely manage to ruin the Kgalagadi.
