must in fact had rained heavily - It looks like a wetland although the animals seem to like it ^Q^

Hi nan,

I'm all caught up now. \O

Some great sightings so far, but pity about the fridge, and scary encounter with the puffie!

Hi nan,

Just in time to catch up with your TT. Was wondering about the weather and when it will rain. Glad to see you had enough rain at Grootkolk to form a beach. Lovely sighting of the lions at Melkvlei. Could be the little ones we saw at Kij Kij in Dec.

Those fridges can be a serous problem. Saw the delivery truck a few times with new / or broken ones that were fixed driving around in the park. Hope you had a wonderful time and the sightings made up for the warm weather.

Wish I am there, but for now its reading TT's. ;-)

:ty: Bushveld Jock, right the rain was very welcome... not easy to drive in "river road" ;-)

if it was "only" the fridge... 0*\ more to follow 0*\

I saw so many Lions, could be yours \O

me too wish I am there, instead of here in the rain and the cold

I try an exit, the Nossob river is water, it is still raining and the level continues to rise.
I found 2 Cheetahs O/\ O/\ O/\
who obviously have just finished their meal according to their rounded bellies, a little far, but I expect to photograph their feet, who takes lot of time.

Marabou Stork, Abdim's Stork, Ludwig's Bustard, Long-tailed Whydah await me, as well an African Hawk-Eagle, a couple of mating Yellow Mongooses.
The fridge did not work, a South African I met once long time ago lent me his own for few days and I should have been a new appointment to KK to 14h. with the owner 0*\
