Ummmmm Flutterby - you just got to get your priorities right.

my prefered the Osprey
Hi nan. That was a huge fish he had there.
Aha - wasps nest could be the answer.
We felt so sorry for the little guy as no one else was interested in him. He looked so lonely.
Lisbeth wrote:Great to see an osprey and moreover with a BIG fish
Another leopard
Strange thing in the hide. Probably a wasps’ nest or similar
A third leopard and on top a lion
You were right, no anti climax that day
Yes Lisbeth we so very happy to see this Osprey especially with a kill. Hope we get to see him again.
Today was amazing - lets see what tomorrow will bring.

DAY 3 - 9 OCTOBER 2016 - MORNING.
Not a very fruitful drive - plenty of the usual but nothing really photographable.
So lets get on with the afternoon drive.
DAY 3 - 9 OCTOBER 2016 - AFTERNOON.
Joan decided to stay at the chalet with Kendall and take her to the pool and play area to give her a break from the car.

Hi R.P. I have placed all my leopard photos on his Facebook page. Very nice guy Heinrich Neumeyer. They have also produced a map of where what leopards can be found.
I will put that nest on 'unusual behaviour". Thank you for your offer.

DAY 3 - SUNDAY OCTOBER 9 2016 - AFTERNOON.
Joan decided to stay at the chalet with Kendall and take her to the pool and play area to give her a break from the car.
We wanted to travel on the Tilodi Loop to see if we could find that lion with its kill but a roadblock has us reversing and travelling along the main road.
Then you get twits like this who do not realise the danger they are putting themselves, their children and other visitors at risk.
I took a photo of him, his car with registration clearly visible and the elephant and reported the matter to the gate who said they will report it.
Never heard anymore. Wonder if it was reported??????
Our Osprey was in the same tree with I would assume another kill.
We decided to do the circular route from Mankwe Way, left onto Kwalata, left onto Tshepe and back to Mankwe Way.
A Grey Hornbill.
I am now going to skip about two hours and fast forward to heading back to camp. What we saw in those couple of hours will be the subject of my next posting.
Melanie had shouted STOP ------- GO BACK - MORE ........MORE .......THERE STOP.
On our way back to camp we saw this L.B.R in stunning late afternoon light.
Finally for today at Tilodi Dam:
Until tomorrow when the missing couple of hours will be revealed.
