Book Forum

Mods,

Please may I make a suggestion.

The book forum. Is just one long thread with all sorts of books merged into one discussion.

Would it be possible to split each title into a new thread.
I find it difficult to start a discussion on a book when it is in among all sorts of other chat.

Or maybe going forward starting a new topic for each book (instead of splitting the old thread)

I love my wildlife books. For me, collecting books related to wildlife, and nature is a hobby in itself.

Just an idea.
Thanks

Hi Dzombo 0/*

If you have a special book or more that you want to discuss particularly, you can open a new thread and eventually the mods will merge it into the list, index and the discussion threads. Unfortunately we cannot open a new topic for each book as the book forum will get over-crowed and unstructured. I hope that this can satisfy you partly.

Dzombo, we can also do an index for the discussions which would take you directly to the discussion on a particular book. ;-)

An index is a good idea.

But if I want to comment on a book that's half way through a mixed thread, then discussion on one book is all over the place?
Whereas if each book has it's own thread, there is a clear discussion?

If one looks at other sections, say Flavour of the Month, under Roads and Routes in Kruger. For eg.
Each road has its own thread. All just listed in posting date order and linked to an index
So a book forum with each book listed as its own topic wouldn't be different???? -O-

As Lis said, you can open a new thread for books you want to discuss. \O
