Incidently, I have a copy of that "Kruger Experience"book, though must admit I haven't seen the info on introduced species.
It isn't a cover to cover read.
There is an interesting chapter on water points and average distances between them
According to this paper, the max distance between water points is 5km
Maybe I should post a review in the book section

Hi Richprins, I am not much of an expert when it comes to monkey business but, (with reference to your post of Dec 13 2016) when you look at the below photos you will notice that there are more differences than similarities between the Sykes monkey from the Aberdare Mountains in Kenya and the Samango monkey from Charter's Creek in iSimangaliso :-

PS:- Please pardon the poor quality of photos, both photos were taken in cloudy conditions with inadequate equipment.

Also, the Sykes monkey was photographed in the bamboo belt of the Aberdare mountains at 11 000 feet plus - up there a car has lost at least 40% power due to reduced oxygen levels.
