Re: Short alien trip arranged (over a few beers)
Before I start with the new day with the breakfast at Olifants, I'm sure you all can remember that guest cottage 106 burned down some time ago. They have rebuild it now. It's still without any furniture at the moment. One thing that I picked up is that they changed it's layout inside completely. Not sure why.
This is the patio from unit 105 side

They have build the patio the whole length of the cottage.

The unit was locked so I just took some pictures through the windows, so not great quality
The kitchen

The one bedroom (very small compared to the older units)

The bigger bedroom

The braai area

Next episode: on our way to have breakfast

Re: Short alien trip arranged (over a few beers)
Ok so we decided to drive to Olifants and have breakfast there. Breakfast with a view I always say
We took the S46 - S93 - S44 along the Letaba river.
Von Weilligh Baobab

Then we arrived at the Olifants lookout point. We were the only car

So quiet here

This poor guy never made it

Then we arrived at Olifants camp
The lookout point

Then finally breakfast

The kids were very hungry but once the food arrived, not so hungry anymore.
The drive back to Letaba very quiet. Next day we pack up in the rain and move to Mopani........

At least the Olifants still had quite a lot of water.

This is why moms put on weight....we can't bear to see food wasted so end up eating all the leftovers!Alf wrote:The kids were very hungry but once the food arrived, not so hungry anymore.![]()
