All the chairs turned towards the table

Me thinks does not seem welcoming for these guests!

Ja, J Le Roux guest house is what you stayed in @ R4310 per night for 4 people and then R690 per person additional above 4 people. Therefore it's probably the most expensive guest house in Kruger value for money wise.
