Amazing how darkly-coloured those bushbuck and other Cape animals are vs the normal ones? :-?
You know those lion come from Kalahari?
My favourites are the scenic shots, including the big buff! ^Q^
:ty: RP for commenting :-)
Yep I am aware the Lions come from there \O
They are always just such magnificent strong looking beasts O\/ - compared to their Kruger cousins! ;-)

Oh, and what a lucky next day! Even a buff and Nomad and Roy thrown into the mix O/\
You must make an official ID request for the fluff ball on the according thread (I'm just saying that because I can't ID it from the top of my head  )
But agree on the PCG and the jackal buzzard \O
:ty: For continuing to comment :-)
Will put fluff ball on the tread
O-/ Let's see if my thoughts that it could possibly be a Cape Weaver is remotely correct this time -O- O** =O:
Thanks also for confirmation on other birds id's O0

We were entertained by this Ellie roadblock :-) they just passed us as if we were not there. O**

Image

More Hartebeest on the ridge

Image

Male Ostrich with beautiful feathers

Image

Some mischief makers were out and about - This one scanning the area 0:

Image

This one was full of beans and jumping around, doing the highjump O\/

Image

This one seems rather big still to be wanting a drink from Mom :-?

Image

This big boy had a nice set of tusks for an Addo Ellie ;-)

Image

Peacefully grazing, not a care in the world

Image

"Snuggle bugs" - They were so content, just snoozing the day way! lol

Image

Careful Mom I am right behind you!! O**

Image

This Buffalo seemed to enjoy the green grass

Image

Junior was feeding a short distance away too

Image

Miss inquisitive asked for a photo too - This one looked extra cuddly with soft fur O:V

Image

Coming round a bend in the road we were greeted by some Ellies again!!

Image

“Move Mom they are too close for comfort” - nudging the Mom on the leg lol

Image

Flapping those BIG ears, as if to say I am bigger than you!

Image

Then this one also came to show off his tiny new tusks to us

Image

These were enjoyed finding nutrients and enough dung around to make a ball

Image

Then the ball started to roll! lol

Image

They are so hardworking  Must be a female, with the back one giving orders --00-- O** =O:

At Rooidam there were 4 cars parked, we scanned the area and in the distance on the far side we saw what they were all looking at. :-)
It was great to see another Lion today even if it was so far.

Image

We had this little fella (Brownhooded Kingfisher) visit us every day, would come late afternoon and would sit on the same branch for at least an hour before making his way to its home for the night. :-0
It was a real treat having him there everyday! O/\

Most Addo ellies behave like that

The warthogs are really ugly so close up lol lol

Another cute LO O/\

The dung beetles are hard working small creatures, but pushing the ball with the hind legs, they never see where they are going lol

Great variety, AN!

Interesting, only one animal in the whole series can fly, even if the monkey is trying to! lol
