Hey boet
I can finally see your pics thanks to Roger.
The old lady must have loved your ellie welcoming party in front of your unit at Lower Sabie
It looks like you guys had a few fresh mornings, but probably more used to it than the old lady.
Large hyena gang in the Nthandanyathi area
Great family pics from Mathekenyane
Our lighties aren’t lighties anymore
I see you still have the cat knack
You always seem to find the odd sable in the Kruger tablet area
Cool LIT
A long drive from Skukuza up to the Kumana Dam area and back

@Lisbeth : Yeah it was far, but was a good sighting
@All-Nature: Great to have you along for the TT
@Flutterby, Nan, Twigga, Pumbaa: thanks for following
@Richprins: Correct, it was VERY dry last August, lots of open space and bones
@Bushcraft: Hey Boet, you got the pics problem fixed
Old Lady does love the Ellies and it was cold in the early mornings. We did some long drives and some very short drives, all depending on the weather and energy levels…

Day 3 – 15th August 2016 (Continued)
With the excitement, over from the Leopard sighting, we headed back down to Tshokwane, with a stop first at Orpen Dam, the road had lots of general game to keep everyone awake
Orpen Dam was quite but allowed everyone to have a leg stretch
Which was followed by another family selfie
with some big cheezy smiles
The Sable were still at the Kruger Tablets but this time closer to the road which allowed for some better pictures
This time they had a few Buffalo and Zebra with them
It was already after 15h00, so we headed back down to Skukuza.

A nice selfie, I must say, SN!
You saw a "tarentaal" buffalo, like your boet!

Day 3 – 15th August 2016 (End)
As the road was quiet, we reached Skukuza with time to spare, so kept going south until we ran out of time.
The Sabie gang was out as usual to welcome us…
After turning to head back to Skukuza we spotted this guy in the road, Bushcraft had given us the spot to look for the Civet and it was still in the same place. It was not afraid and was interested in the car, looked as if someone had been feeding it.
Somewhere during the days travels this Blackie strolled across the road, only managed a late pic as we were not expecting it.
Day 3 had been a good day, with lots of sightings of the big 5 and a few extras

An awesome day
You also got a spotted buffalo
What are the chances of that
That particular civet disappeared shortly after you guys were there
May have been chowed by a leopard
