Apart from the typical wetland grasses growing there , the whole area also exudes a wonderful aroma , coming from one of the wild herbal plants , which smells very much like a type of lavender -- really fantastic , and I always stop there to take it in . These bushes grow right to the edge of the road and if you rub some of its leaves between your fingers , then it releases the aroma in the air .
Try it with a small sprig of leaves , and see how it freshens up the air in your vehicle

At Mooiplaas waterhole
Almost empty desolate plain ....
Crowned plover - there must have been around 20 of them .
Tsessebe at Tihiyongeni .. and also a few zebras grazing .
Some more Tsessebe -- but look at the one in the background
They were very far-off , but this one seems to have Zebra-stripes
