Sport and Police have the same minister

That's why none of them work, but especially the police

You could always check your bags in and take the Gautrain to Rosebank or Sandton...lots of restaurants there.

I've been looking at the times and our flight leaves at 19.30. If we leave Pretoriuskop at 8am and drive to Malelane, that's going to take a couple of hours. Then a leisurely drive back, stopping somewhere for lunch on the way, we won't have a lot of time once back in Johannesburg. As my wife is disabled, we have to allow plenty of time for returning the car and getting through the airport.
I'm working on Malelane being a better option that leaving at Numbi?

As you have lots of time, better spend a few more hours in Kruger
