Re: Kalahari Ramblings - meanderings without any apparent direction…
so I was thinking of Hanri (4+1), Corinne (2+1) Muskeeters (4) and one alone
asnd my count is still not the good one
4 cubs+Hanri - 2 cubs+Corinne - 4 Muskeeters - 1 alone = 13....
must return to school
but still not the good figure
where were seen the unidentified Cheetahs
2 males
2 other males
a group of 3, sexe ???
or already posted here and I was not here... or can't remember

* Note- I have edited the "other" cheetahs and will repost when I straighten it out.
Total is now 14, not 16.
Thanks for commenting Sis, Flutts, All-Nature, RP, and nan
RP, I have posted them to the cheetah ID thread - Mel helped me a lot there, as per her usual.
nan,
The 2 unidentified males seen on 4/27, 5/14, and 5/15 (1st montage) were seen south of Leeudril, then between Rooiputs and Leeudril.
The next montage of the 2 males seen on 5/6 were north of Rooibrak, drank at the waterhole, and continued South.
The 3rd montage, (edited) is a single male, seen on 5/8 was 1 - 2 kms south of Kamfersboom
(FYI - The group of 3 seen also on 5/8 I have now IDd as Corinne and cubs south of Houmed up on the dune - one chased a Cape Fox unsuccessfully.)
Whew! So many spots, so little time

RP says 13 camouflaged animals….let's see….
He's the only one who ventured a guess, so he wins by default

I count 15 - even tho' some are not as pronounced as others, but RP wins
Liz 2 nan 1 RP 1

It is difficult to guess the oxymorons
I can only think of an ugly, beautiful warthog or a wild, tame springbok
