We spent hours watching them coming and going. I wished that the mud puddle was
a bit closer :-)

No Lion activity when we were there but i heard a Leopard calling from very close by on the last night. And hundreds of Buffalo.

It certainly is a magical place and we sat for hours watching the ellies. when they weren't there we had a few interesting
birds come out .

Just a few shots from inside the hide. Unfortunately we couldn't see the fountain itself and because of the sun/shade
combination photos were quite difficult. The ellies came to drink in the late afternoon so light was not easy.

We went down the old Hunters Road along the Zim border. A herd of skittish impala.
Then a view of the road and some beautiful big trees
    Another road through the forest.

The bush is quite close to the road in some parts, it seems O-/ Can't see the animals well O-/
On the other hand, you probably have to crawl along anyway due to the thick vegetation all over
the place, so chances are good that one doesn't run over any critters.

    Sable - what a treat O:V O:V O:V
