I'm still in turmoil about these EIA's and BAR's,....
For me to irresponsibly a set of principles applied.
The method by which this practice is/would be
applied, leaves to many loopholes for misunderstanding!!!
I experienced a very uncomfortable scenario at the last
Groenkloof meet,...
And it was sad to see,....
As much as us IAP's have the right to transparency, since this
development is after all a .gov mission, so does the EIPractioner
have the right to be focused to what he/she where appointed
to achieve, by .gov
This process by far to open ended, with clauses protecting,...
Nah ,this is not right,.......
The IAP's manipulated and overruled, brushed aside,...
I'm afraid this method and practice of taking into account
heritage and so forth, leaves a lot to be desired,..
There is just to much focus on the monetary value rather than
the ecological value,...
I'm deeply disappointed and saying that this countries beauty
and diversity and wealth, in dubious hands!
The said principles and manner of practice leaves a lot of room
for thought.
