I’m interested on your final opinion as I still haven’t done a KTP trip and I’m hesitant because some seem to love it and others, like me, prefer bush over desert, hence would possibly prefer KNP.

BC we got stuck twice but we learned from it and deflated the tyres to 1.5 and I put foot where the sand was too thick luckily thay didn't happen often

My opinion on KTP.......mmmmm let me think ...I will go back for sure but with a vehicle that has diff-lock at least

I think everyone is different but I liked KTP, yes it's mostly like a sort of a desert, but KTP has it's own magic and I think one must visit KTP at least once in your life time
There is lots of birds and lots of other interesting animals

If I where you BC I will make a plan to go there soon

about 10 km's from Dikbaards we spotted something that looked like the roots of a big tree but after checking we saw it was 2 male Lions

Then at one of the waterholes close to Marie se draai turn of it got even better first we saw BBJ's at a young kudu kill and then Tataruka saw Cheetahs on another young Kudu bull kill a few meters away, we sat there for 30 mins left for Nossob and came back for some more
