Just "sigh"... Looking at the photos feels like taking a drive myself
I'm pretty sure that juvenile martial entertained us before as well. It was quite curious and would turn its head almost upside down
in order not to miss what we were doing in the car

God put me on earth to accomplish a certain amount of things. Right now I'm so far behind that I'll never die.

I finally managed to figure out your three cheetahs from between Leeuwdril and Rooiputs
The one on the left is the mother of the two pretty grown cubs. Her name is Flirty

Re: KTP: From WTFlip to Awesome!!!!
Absolutely
Until April, I think it was 2012, Gus and Margie Mills had a cheetah research project going on in the KTP.
The book about their findings has been released not too long ago. But that just as a side remark.
Anyway... In October 2013 I had a few good cheetah sightings, especially of females. One with cubs, the
other without. Turned out it was the most famous cheetahs that we had seen on previous trips with other
cubs. At one of those sightings before 2013 we met Gus and Margie and the had told us the names -
Lisette and Elena. When I realized that we had seen those two again, my interest was sparked to continue
trying to watch the cheetahs as best as possible by reports through travel tales and photos on Facebook.
Somehow I got talking to Matthew Schurch - the guy who monitors and names the KTP leopards - and we
joined forces. The way the naming works is that the people who report a new arrival first will get to name
them. (Same for the leopards, btw.)
You should check out the KTP forum on this site a bit closer... you'll find much more interesting info there
Including links to the identification guides.
