Shame for the "shy" spottie, but otherwise great sightings again

Did you manage to secure your tent equipment?

And I kinda seemed to have picked up on Facebook that Vallie Moosa is no more?

You're right, they are difficult to place... from about 8pm to 4am they seemed to be roaring in the same location, then it went quiet. That must have been when they moved $0*\$ $0*\$
Friends who were also in the park got lucky and found them on the road to Domkrag dam, but that apparently didn't last long anyway as some lunatic decided to drive through them and nearly took out a few tails in the process

Thanks Mel, yes our tent survived quite ok thanks. The only time we've ever had an issue was in 100km/h winds coming straight off the sea at Storms River

And yes, sad news about Valli - he was killed in a fight with another bull. Still, he was still alive during this trip

He was probably about 50 years old Mel $\O$

It would have been interesting to know what age he might have reached if not for the fight

The sea is only visible in the southern sections and for some reason there weren't many animals there for the backdrop!

Thanks Pumbaa. The lions were very flat! They did move from time to time to find better shade, but we didn't happen to be there when they moved
