Michele you have just given me a idea for those fluffed shots, Now this was done in camera and not PS
1/8000 sec, f/5.6
Mode: Av
Metering: Partial
Exp comp: +1/3
ISO: 6400
Camera was set for night ,star photography and this was the result in daylight

, totally over exposaed

, hence high Key Photography

Okie..you are on the right track but I think subject needs to have more detail..:)
PRWIN ..that wild dog is fabulous..:) I would like to see your Lion in Black and White...so pleased you weren't in a hurry to ditch your leopard shot..:) :)

Now that Lion is something quite special... much better in B & W I think.

I need to bear all this mind when I go to KTP in Feb. First take the standard shots and then take for high key where possible. :) And I have finally seen the light with Black and White....

Michele what I have noticed it works better when you have a light background to the subject, So I,m thinking this type of photography might work in the hours between the golden light hours, when shooting directly into the sun or from a dark area into a light area.

Yes agreed..and also it is better to try and get the shot in camera as opposed to taking a properly exposed photo and over exposing it in PS....
