Adding Borders and Text to Your Photos

RP asked me to do a "how-to" on borders, so for anyone who doesn't already know the process, here's one way to do so:
I use Photoshop
1. Choose your pic, open in Photoshop, post process and resize as desired, by choosing Image > Resize > IMAGE Size and enter the desired dimensions.
2. Then choose Image > Resize > CANVAS Size
This option keeps the photo the same size and adds "canvas" around it.
In the pop-up window, choose the amount you want to add (can add to all sides, 2 sides, just 1, etc) by adjusting the dimensions.
3. Choose the "Canvas extension color" you wish to add - Black, White, and Grey are options listed, but you can choose "other" and click the eyedropper icon on any color in the drop down color chart, or click it on any color IN your photo to duplicate.
Click "OK", then "OK" again to complete the process
5. You can continue with as many borders, colors as you wish.
6. If desired, you can then choose the "text" icon/tool in Photoshop, and add a caption, label, etc.
7. You can also print your finished masterpiece on Label Paper and use it to label cups, wine bottles, etc, or print on regular paper, heavy duty paper, etc and use it to wrap a personalized gift, make place mats, whatever your creative mind can come up with. Have fun!
(Will do a tutorial on making collages when I get the time.)
