I cannot decide if it is good or bad news If they are able to do it in 6 days, then why does it normally take from three to six months

My apologies yet again as just as I was about to start posting our electricity went off again until this afternoon.

It was not easy Lisbeth but thank goodness for a gas bottle and budget stove. We ate out most times and cooked small meals on the gas bottle stove.

A whole team worked 24 hours a day with the team leader only taking a two hour nap on site. It was an incredible effort.

June 13 2018 - Part 1/2

We decided to spend a few hours at Lake Panic before hitting the road home via Phabeni gate.

We heard someone say that there was a leopard on the road to the golf club.

We did not see it but did see this Black-headed Oriole.



A hyena den next to road to Phabeni Gate.

13 July 2018 - Final episode.

We continued along the H1-1 until we got to Nyamundwa Dam.

We saw a few cars parked there so we joined them studied the banks of the dam.

Nothing to be seen.

I was looking straight ahead at the dam when Joan said " I wonder what has caused those bushes to our left to suddenly shake and sway?"

Not seeing much we turned our focus back to the dam.

Glancing to our left again this is what we saw.

















Some are Joans photos and some are mine so the sequence may not be right.

And so Kruger Park gave us a grand farewell.
