I thought that the title would attract your attention.

Well, it is not June busting out all over.

It is actually Joan and I you see as we have just booked a lovely 13 night trip to Kruger in June.

Looking back I see our last trip was four years ago.

Forgive us if we are 5 months early to start our travel tale but the excitement is just not containable.

And to crown it all my brother and his wife from Durban will be joining us for most of the nights.

We made our reservation on 21 September 2017 and it has been a uphill struggle to contain our excitement.

As this MIGHT be our last trip to Kruger we decided to adopt the S.K.I.N. strategy and really spoil ourselves.

From the itinerary below you will see we have decided to explore the central regions of the park.

Any suggestions on special places to go or roads to travel?

Our itinerary will be as follows:

31.05 Pretorius Kop BD2M

01, 02.06 Satara BD2V

03, 04 05.06 Letaba BD3U

06 and 07.06 Mopani BD4

08, 09 and 10.06 Orpen BD2

11 and 12.06 Skukuza LR2W

Thirteen nights of pure bliss.

Our only concern is that we have been reading some very adverse reports on the restaurants at some the camps lately.

We will be watching Kruger Park Facebook pages with keen interest for the next few months.

Remember, you can change bookings, but the itinerary seems fine!?

One thing I might add, seeing as you fear Imminent Departure, is to change Mopani to Shingwedzi...it is not a massive further schlepp from Letaba, and you can see Pafuri for the last time?
