No official announcement by Sanparks. Maybe they got too many other pressing matters like their commercialisation roadshow to worry about!

Ja, basically the artefacts found at Thulamela in Pafuri were originally housed at Pretoria Museum. SANParks insisted that they all be displayed at the Skukuza Museum as part of the cultural history story. On 14 December 2016 all the artefacts made of gold were reported stolen. There was no sign of forced entry or breaking open of the display.
