R536 blocked again by protesters at Mkhuhlu.loads of sand dropped in the middle of the road.if you’re thinking of using Paul Kruger gate,change your plans.

*R536 Hazyview - Paul Kruger Gate* Road blocked at Sabie River Bridge by Mkhuhlu community protesters. Access to Phabeni Gate still open. Updates will be posted as and when received.

⚠️Kruger Roads Update⚠️
Guests are informed that the R536 rout to Kruger Gate previously closed and blocked by community protesters has now been cleared and open for use.
The sand heaps and trees used to block the rad have all been cleared. Paul Kruger Gate is now accessible to visitors again.

⚠️Social Media Alert⚠️
Reports received indicate that the service delivery protests that started last week in the Mkhuhlu areas are planned to continue as from tomorrow, 15 April 2024; and will affect entry and exit through Paul Kruger and Phabeni Gates. Kruger National Park Management hereby would like to advise guests to and from the southern part of the park to use alternative gates such as Malelane and Crocodile Bridge gates for entry and exit until further notice.
Updates will be posted as and when received. Please note that the situation will be fluid, guests are advised to keep track of the updates that will be pinned at the top of the group posts for convenience.

Kruger Road Alert⚠️
Guests are informed that Phabeni and Paul Kruger gates are still accessible as from Monday 15 April 2024 05:30am. The community protesters had closed it down, but SAPS acted and ensured that the R536 is open for all motorists. We ask that you please check these updates regularly as the situation is fluid.
