Saving Orphaned Animals

Post by Flutterby »

For the last 15 years, Joseph Keter has been rescuing, caring for and returning injured and abandoned animals -- mainly orphans whose mothers have died -- to the wild. From lions to cheetahs and buffalo to gazelle, Joseph has cared for some of Africa’s most iconic animals through his work for Animal Rights Reserved, a conservancy in Naivasha, Kenya. His days may be long and difficult, but when it’s life or death for baby animals on Lake Naivasha, it’s all worth it.

We need more people like Joseph in the world!!

How sweet ^Q^ ^Q^

Is it possible to re-introduce wild animals after such a close contact with humans? Maybe when it comes to antelopes, but cats? I doubt it -O- They have not been through the learning period with their mothers. Maybe when they are hungry enough they learn it by themselves and all that we are told is not always true O**
