And next morning it was time to go home!


Never in my life has there been a roadblock at the gate preventing one from leaving camp!


This lasted a good 15 minutes, so wasn't funny after a while!

Lovely sunset from the "kop"

When a big elephant male behaves like that, it really seems that he is conscious of his force and what he combines just to show that he is the boss. He is probably laughing when he moves off the road

Momprins returned and we kicked off this year's Kruger season in May!

An uneventful trip to Phabeni, only stopping to buy naartjies by the roadside...I'm pretty sure they are stolen items but anyway!

And our customary stop at Alasini for breakfast! I look forward to it all summer!

...even though there was an attendant there. we chatted and he was temporarily working on a SANParks community scheme.
