The fence is not really a problem for predators, Lis. Not electrified at the bottom, and there are lots of gullies etc.
Maybe this one was just looking for a safe place for the cubs...

I cannot imagine that it is low enough for cubs with all the rain that has been falling lately

i enjoy hearing the guys "urging" the lion to catch the young buffalo
and the women "cheering" for the buffalo to chase the lion.
