Ja, but it would have been even more awesome when the caracals had come in light lol

The next time we decided to take a little drive again, we opted for going down to Lijersdraai. Not far from the turn off we bumped into one of the males that are probably soon going to be kicked out of the pride.

And another spotted eagle owl staring back at me O-/

Then nothing again until sundown lol

And then this female who came always alone and always walked in and out to our right. Suspect she might have cubs somewhere O**

Halfway through our stay we had to make a trip down to Nossob to fuel up again. But not before we had said good morning to "our" brownie.

The best sighting on our way down was a black-chested snake-eagle.

But it wasn't only spotted by us. And in contrast to us, the drongo didn't appear too happy with the raptor's presence. ^0^

Unfortunately the interaction didn't last long and we were soon on our way again and arrived at Nossob without further ado.
The trip up, however, would get way more exciting than we would have anticipated after 12 pm with mid-thirty temperatures. O**

The lion still has the baby look about him ;-)

Not much to see on the way to Nossob; maybe better on the way back O**
