I have just heard she has had cubs ..so they will be 5 months old when I get there unless she moves out the area in the meanwhile?

Campsite 3 Rooiputs is our favorite camp on the African Continent and it has the least facilities of the all the camps we stay in ..No staff , No Fences , only 6 very remote from each other camp sites (Tsendze by comparison has a fence , Kitchens and ablution blocks and Camp Freezers and 31 cramped campsites) ...You also have to bring your own electricity generating set up ..Ours is standing next to the trailer in the Pic..If you don't bring loo paper too for the Long Drop then some spiky Kalahari grass will have to do
Love that big thunderstorm brewing ..It rained heavily further East of us eventually . We also love the well cared for house cats that hang around the area ..2 local Felines cresting the dune 500 m from our tent at Sunrise ..Click on pics and you literally smell that red sand

Next day I was keen to get going as the racket coming from the waterhole in the early hours of the night was HUGE ..Sounded like a herd of Gemsbok were taken down .. I had only got 300 metres from our Campsite 3 when I came across this pair on the dune looking straight at our camp ..Cant leave wifey on her own today so I turned around and fetched her in her Pj's (Gee nobody would have seen her as the sightings were IN camp this morning !) What a way to enjoy a Kalahari Sunrise than with fellow residents and no other humans in camp that night just 2 x Betts and 2x Leo on a dune
