After the lions, I continued towards the H-9 and stopped at the Masorini Archeological & Picnic Site

Unfortunately, there was nobody around to show me the site, so I did what I had to do and left with the noise of the Buffalo Weavers in my ears

Soon there was a small group of Elephants trying out the grass

Maybe arriving from this perfect but by now deserted SPA

Another first - on this trip

and a Crested Francolin in a great hurry

At this point, I was sure that there would be something amazing waiting around the corner.... and for sure, there it was!...........A lonely ellie

and there was also a tinyphant visible when they left

Something that I got to love in this area was all the small and less small koppies, at least they distracted me from the Mopane
