We have been warning about this for years. SP denied any such thing..the preferential tender PDZ rubbish is coming home to roost now!
Yes, and in case you can't believe it, SP now have control over tourism developments within 3km of a Park's boundary. Neat!

So another potential 100 tourists entering every day.

In planning stages, not to be confused with Phalaborwa WAH, inside the Park. All this nonsense is privatised stuff, with tenders to follow. A scourge!

If it is outside the park, why underline that it is accessible after gate-closing time

Think Letaba ranch is further from gate than this and is over 42000 hectares with its own road network already.

Ja, it borders on Kruger? This is not the Phalaborwa Hotel, or WAH...separate stuff!
Tons of community infighting etc. at Letaba Ranch...
This sort of thing for example:
Mthimkhulu is a community that is comprised of two villages and who owns the Mthimkhulu Game Reserve – which is the most northern section of the Letaba Ranch Nature Reserve and open to Kruger National Park.

Used to go there in about 1996/1997, think it was R5 per person and R2 per vehicle. There was only 1 camp left and you could stay in a bungalow there for R50 per night. Was a nice setting right on the river. We used to go there and just stop off along river and have a braai then drive around. The fence was already broken in so many places between them and Kruger and was a nice drive along firebreak between the 2 reserves. Drive all day without seeing another vehicle.
