22nd August 2017 = Continued

About 5 kilos’ after turning left onto the S41 we found the lions that we were looking for







Then the one sat up and we realized this was the White Lion that everyone had been talking about.





It was dirty but definitely white and different from all the rest of the pride













We sat with they for the rest of the afternoon, at least until the Garmin showed that we had to leave to make it back to Satara.

The rest of the drive back had plenty of general game and these Ground Hornbills and a buffalo herd.






Back in camp the party started innocently enough with marshmallow roasting



Kelly got the hubbly going





Then Mel and the girls started getting a raucous




It seemed to be the night that Mel was on form



Granny took time out to catch up on her Hay Day farming game



All quieted down after Mel was attacked by a grasshopper, I’m sure the rest of the Satara guests thought she was being attacked by a Lion but were happy that the party had ended…. and all was quiet again
