I still wonder if the two Zebra species will interbreed :-?

Although zebra species may have overlapping ranges, they do not interbreed. In captivity, plains zebras have been crossed with mountain zebras. - wikipedia

They can and they do interbreed, Richprins. In Etosha, there are records of interbreeding of Hartmann's and Plain's Zebra. And the Plain's Zebra have been removed from Mountain Zebra NP due to interbreeding with Cape Mountain Zebra.
