Many of the long-billed visitors. The yellow-billed stork is good material for pics
The green-backed heron always looks as if it's about to fall into the water

So after some stripped horses we came across more ancient unicorns ...

And then suddenly movement in the distance orange spots could it be ..yes we had found the S128 Cheetahs again

We had them to ourselves for a while but eventually another bakkie arrived luckily they were friendly and shared the road while we followed them

Shortly they left the road and climbed up on a dead tree to look around .Spotting their next destination they went off into the bush .

The only other sighting on the road was this Kori bustard

Petty theft one can handle, but it develops, however in Marloth’s case I believe that the security has gotten better over the years
Nice start in the park though
Wow, fantastic cheetah sighting on the S128
Great pics as per normal

Security has improved but there are the odd times when there is a spike in thefts .

Re: Marloth the Break ... April 2018
I cant remember the exact route we took after the sighting I suspect it was the S30 then H4 we gradually made our way around towards Sunset dam on the route. We found another Monitor along the way

This old Fellow was browsing after having a mud bath

We found out where the Squirrel was hiding his nuts

and this juvenile was drying off after a shower

We found a two headed crocodile

This Giraffe had a odd looking growth on its face

and finished up at Sunset dam where some Fish eagles had arrived to hunt for their Lunch

After the days success we had to leave to get back to Marloth earlier as we had run out of Gas at the house and had to get to the hardware to order a new bottle .So we drove down the main tar road and did not spot another animal on the way out
