As a Clerk of Works, I would not have passed that job as finished. The new rails need painting. -O -O -O -O -O

Great stuff.
Although I know it is exactly the opposite, I like to believe that we had a small hand in the fact that it is so speedily repaired after our complaints.

A job like this one would have happened anyway PN, it was an insurance claim which means the insurer would have got quotes from contractors and then they would have had the railings fixed, not SP. But hey which ever way it happened, great that they're fixing the flood damage.

I know iNdy, but to me, with all the people standing on the bridge every day, it was an accident waiting to happen with all the debris lying around and the inadequate measures taken to prevent somebody to toppling of off the bridge,
It is SP's responsibility to ensure the safety of its visitors and they did not do a good job at doing so.
