Very nice, Flutts! And hard to get photos of because they always try to hide in the foliage or fly away. At least my experience with them

So excited!! Just heard an unmistakable call and rushed outside to find a Woodland Kingfisher sitting on our neighbour's aerial!! In over 20 years of living here I've never heard one, never mind seen one!!

Best part of it all, to experience how this parasite bird manages
too congregate all the other feathered species in support of its
disposition. This small creature has the magnetism not unlike some
pastors, in calling together local fraternity for support, in order to
establish some kind of existence,.. Lovely, so very lovely the power of
shreeking for attention!!
