Re: Kruger Camping
Richtersveld, Kgalagadi and Namaqua (all 4x4 apart from Kgalagadi which only has a couple of genuine 4x4 roads ) Tankwa Karoo wrecks your tyres on those sharp pebbles..A month ago I was in Addo and the roads were shocking and I was glad I had my Hilux there and not a personal Saloon car ..Avis would handle it though
Re: Kruger Camping
Taken from Mpumalanga Nature Reserves website
"Manyeleti" Shangaan for "Place of Stars" offers
guided, drives, guided walks with experienced rangers, self drives 200+ kms
34 self catering bungalows en-suite, 19 renovated so far.
20 caravan sites with power? communal ablutions
two pools
tuck shop
self catering only come fully prepared.
Only problem to date trying to get an answer is like pulling hen's teeth.
Roads for me Richtersveldt, Tankwa Karoo and Kgalaladi. Namaqua when we visited not great, but not too bad.
Worst Road in ages Cape Nature Anysberg near Laingsburg. (RP moans again )

Re: Kruger Camping
Tanks RP, but no idea of dates, was just trying to get more information for inclusion in holiday proprosal. It is a little sparse and was hoping that perhaps someone knew a bit more and perhaps had stayed.. In recent times have tried two sites with little info, one fantastic and wouldn't hesitate to recommend if anyone in area, other one less said the better and it had reasonable reviews, which makes you wonder what kickbacks reviewer's get?

Re: Kruger Camping
AS I said thanks to all, and will put Manyeleti into proposal for next year. Blouberg NR near Vivo already included. If it turns out to be terrible well you live and learn and if the opposite, somewhere else for the list of must go places.
