So after stopping at Afsaal we decided to go back to camp for the middle of the day .We went via Steilberg as there had been sightings of Lions and we had not seen any .

On the way down there was a smell and soon we found the source

SO was very grateful for the Masks during our time at the sighting .Eventually we could not take the smell and decided to move on.The Hyena however did not have the same issues with the smell .

We went back to camp for lunch during the heat of the day and then went out later ... O**

:ty: Yes is SO favorite spot .One day we will afford to stay at the camp .But luckily not this time as the road to the Weir from the camp was closed on this side so it must be a very long drive from Biyamiti to get to the Weir .

That afternoon we left camp to do a drive .We decided to go back to see if the Leopard was still about .On the way there was a stripped roadblock

Image

Arriving at the place where we had seen the Leopard some 9 hours earlier we found a couple of cars stopped but the tree was empty .As we pulled up we opened our window to ask if they had seen the Leopard .No they had not someone before them had seen it and they had been waiting but not had a sighting of it yet . As we were chatting we looked up and wham up popped the Leopard onto the lower branch of the tree to look around . O/\ O\/

And just as quickly dropped back down again .
