Awesome leopard sighting

Re: Beware the spots in March ...
Next along the river we found this Kudu
At the same place we found the bee eaters again .
And a friend
The S114 low level bridge by the S118 intersection even had water flowing
Some Ellies were greeting each other
We were starting to run out of time so headed back towards camp and decided to go via the S110 sand road to Berg en Dal then onto camp .
The sun was getting low .
Some Vultures were waiting for sunset .
Some Ellies were the last sighting we saw for the day going up the hill towards Berg En Dal.
We made it back to camp with a few minutes to spare .

Nice pic of the magpie shrike and lovely white-fronted bee-eaters
How do you know that the vultures are waiting for sunset?

Also do love the bee eaters, Roger
Simply love these causeways when the water is still flowing

Re: Beware the spots in March ...
Did not think they would have much time to change their place as it was fairly close to sunset .
Lovely to sit and watch the water -very relaxing .
We did not stay at B&Dal went past on the way to Malelane prefer the smaller camps

Re: Beware the spots in March ...
The next day we were due to leave and drive home .We decided to an early drive first .
We left super early and drove up to the S121 to drive the loop .It was still super dark but we spotted two AWC crossing the H3 on the way up .Too quick and dark for any pics though .
The S121 was extremely quiet without anything to see .We decided to drive the river road and past Gardenia hide then head back home . We had some roadblocks I will post pics of later .The sun was rising slowly .
After some more roadblocks we turned into the S119 and passed Gardenia hide .As we came around a bend Spots
This was definitely a different cat from yesterday much smaller and marking territory as she went along the road .
She went into longer grass to Mark trees further in
She went further in down to the river and we looked and went forwards and back but she had disappeared .
Our last sighting of the day was this Hoopoe in the road .
