I wanna go too!! We live about an hour's drive from the Park but haven't been there for quite some time. Once found a rhino on the Sontuli loop with a snare around it's neck and immideately reported it at Mpila camp. A few years ago a man was attacked by a leopard while sitting at the braai in Mpila ...

Old Duke was the only elephant we ever got close to ... the gentle giant. RIP old buddy!
Both tusks were broken and he looked very frail. I'll always remember his eyes!

So sad such a beautiful animal had to be shot, but it would have been more tragic if a human life was lost. I read Kobie Kruger's book "All Things Wild and Wonderful" in which she tells of the unlikely relationship between their family dog and a lion cub she had raised. She even tried to teach Leo ...
