Mpila tented Camp
Not sure if I'm in the right place here, apologies if not. Can anyone comment on the condition of the tents in the tented camp at Mpila? The last few times we stayed in one there were an increasing number of problems such as torn zips, gas stoves with blocked gas feeds, broken and dangerous steps ...

Re: Night noise
OK thanks Peter and Sprocky. I think the mystery may have been solved - an antelope (think a puff-adder is more of a hiss than this) - or may remain unsolved until I hear it again and can record it . . . .

Re: Night noise
@ klipspringer - thanks. it was none of those. In tone perhaps closest to impala but shorter, sharper. @Richardprins - well I cant say exactly but somewhere between midnight and 03.00 . . . . @Peter Betts - oh shoot! You mean mozzies exhale as well as whine? And don't tell me its only when they ...

Night noise
Sorry if this is the wrong place to pose this question . . . . I have just spent a few nights in iMfolozi, staying in the tented camp. I was woken one night by quite loud, short, sharp ?exhalations close to our tent. The sort of sound you might make if a fly flew into your face and you blew it ...
